This position is primarily responsible for supporting the day program management in ensuring that the day-to-day needs of the day program operation are met and assisting with all administrative needs.\nUnder the direction of program management, core duties and responsibilities include the following.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMonitor all participant incidents and ensure timely and accurate reporting.\nAssume any staff assigned position at any time, for any reason. If a consumer has an immediate need for action, guidance, or assistance, you are to comply and provide assistance.\nWork with program management to ensure all agency rules, requirements, and procedures are understood and exhibited by incumbent.\nEncourage and support: staff may need items or information for an outing, your support in providing the assistance to this material when required. Working as a team, will ensure a safe, positive, and constructive work environment.\nRepresent the day program, during, out in the community, and while completing all tasks assigned by program management.\nComplete all assigned trainings.\nEnsure that all program areas are clean and sanitary.\nAssist and arrange all special and fundraising events, when assigned.\nCollaborates with program management to update consumers Individual Service Plans (ISP).\nCollaborates with the program management and fills in as an instructor and/or driver when staff are absent.\nPerforms audits on consumer files to ensure that all documentation is complete and keeps all consumer files up to date.\nUpdates consumer’s face sheets as needed to ensure the most current information is listed.\nPerforms data entry duties in program and consumer databases.\nPartners with consumers and instructors to ensure that individual plans are implemented and revised as needed.\nEnsures that all company vehicles have all emergency equipment and supplies, maintenance paperwork, and any other required information.\nEnsures the maintenance of all company vehicles are up to date.\nTransport consumers to and from their homes and community outing activities (as designated).\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nFill-in when other programs in the Community Integration Department require support and support approved by department Supervisor or Director.\nPay range: $20.00-$22.00\n__________________________________________\nPosition requires the following:\nMust have a Valid California driver's license\nMust meet company insurance requirements\nMust have and maintain a clean driving record\nMust pass pre-employment and maintain a clean criminal background screening / fingerprint clearance while employed\nMust pass health screening and TB testing\nFirst aid and CPR certification (training is provided by employer)\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three years of relevant job experience or training; or Associates degree with one year of related experience and/or training.\nOther Skills:\nPossession of technical knowledge, critical thinking skills, communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.\nProfessional, outgoing, and customer service oriented.\nFriendly, courteous, service-oriented, flexible and enjoy working with a variety of staff.\nDetail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.\nMust be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision; able to manage multiple projects; able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.\nEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team members and individuals.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
