The Sponsor will support the implementation of hands-on activities and projects that foster curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The Sponsor for the program reports to the building principal.Responsibilities:Leadership is to be provided in the following areas:Organization and supervision of the STEM club.Setting directions and expectations for the STEM club.Monitoring eligibility and academic progress for the students in the STEM club.Qualifications:Required:Must be 21 years of age, or olderHigh School Diploma or equivalentComplete and submitted BVSD online applicationCommunicate (read, write, and speak) in EnglishPreferred:Must be available after school and evenings.Knowledge of all aspects of elementary school activity programming.Proven leadership qualities and successful experience in working with elementary school students.Salary Information:Salary Placement varies according to experience and education.* Pay range listed above is for employees newly hired to BVSD or current BVSD employees that are new to the employee group (existing employees currently in this unit please refer to the pay range on the appropriate salary schedule).BVSD engages in a salary placement process vs. a salary negotiation process.
