Classroom Teacher (Year 5) Beginning Term 3

Role Description/CriteriaSt Christopher’s Primary School is seeking to employ a classroom teacher, beginning July 13, 2026 to join our dynamic teaching team.The position is part-time (2 days, preferably Thursday and Friday) for a fixed contract until the end of 2026; however, there is a possibility of the position being available beyond 2026 and ongoing employment. St Christopher’s is seeking a teacher who is dedicated to catering for the individual needs of students and creating a positive classroom climate. The candidate must be a team player.The successful applicant must have:(criteria)strong relationship skills with students, staff and parentsan understanding and commitment to the MACS 2030 Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagementability to use data to inform teaching in order to meet the individual needs of all students, especially in Maths and Englishability to create a positive and nurturing classroom environmenta passion for teachingthe ability to work within a teamcurrent VIT registrationbe accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School and a passion for teaching Religious Education within the Catholic context or prepared to gain accreditationa strong commitment and proven record in Child Safety and the wellbeing of studentsSt Christopher’s is an inclusive school that values diversity and celebrates differences amongst students.
