We are hiring for an API Architect role with one of our leading banking clients.Role: Senior Java Backend Developer (Java, Spring boot, API, JSON, SQL, NodeJS, ReactJS and Cloud experience Preferably GCP OR AWS) Location: Buffalo, NY (Hybrid 3 days in client office)Experience: 10+ years of experienceDuration: Full timeJob description:Principle Accountabilities: Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service, as directed by leadership of the DevOps teamEnsure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions deliveredWorking with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release / changeWork with engineering teams in an Agile fashion Develop and support of modern APIs and MicroservicesDevelop and support user interface in ReactJS and NodeJSManage releases (packaging, build jobs, Jenkins)Employ various automation tools in Bash, Perl & Python, GroovyContinually deploy & test your work, learn new techniques and technologies as a result of peer review and mentorship; share what you have learned with your peersExperience in architecture and connectivity solutions using 3rd party toolsKnowledge of clouds (specifically on Google Cloud Platform)Liaise with other engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product or service’s directionEstablish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high-quality code and dataCreate technical test plans and records, including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code qualityProvide support to DevOps teams working at all stages of a product or service release/change with a strong customer focus and end to end journeys, ensuring they have an excellent domain knowledgeKeep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicableKnowledge & Experience / Qualifications:Minimum 8 + years working experience with Java, Spring boot, API, JSON, SQL, OpenAI specs, NodeJS, ReactJS and Groovy (preferred)Knowledge of Cloud technologies is an added advantage, preferable Google CloudGood knowledge of Jenkins and GITHUBGood knowledge of Monitoring tools like App Dynamics, Splunk and AnsibleExperience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment across multiple time zones and locations.
