Pay Rate: $42–$45/hr, depending on experienceLocation: Tucson, AZWork Type: 100% onsiteJob DescriptionThis is an onsite position for a motivated, hands-on Systems Engineer operating within the Product Development organization, specifically supporting the On Market Support (OMS) area.The successful candidate must possess direct experience with electro-mechanical devices and demonstrate a strong systems engineering mindset.Ideal Skills & ExpertiseStrong knowledge of engineering principles and concepts, with a proven ability to apply technical proficiency, creativity, and independent thought. Experience in developing, preparing, and executing comprehensive verification and validation (V&V) test strategies. Experience in requirements engineering, risk management principles, and elicitation techniques, including methodologies like FMEA. Experience defining problems and conducting thorough causal analysis using structured problem-solving tools, with the ability to identify and document actionable root causes. Familiarity with IEC 61010, AAMI, ISO 13485, or SAFe Agile methodology. INCOSE certification is a plus. The OpportunityThe role involves applying intensive, diversified knowledge of design principles to complex assignments.Analyze data, evaluate results, form conclusions, and implement process or product improvements. Generate design concepts, participate in reviews, and execute experiments (including DOE) to assess performance against specifications. Plan and execute projects, identify technical challenges, and develop potentially patentable components or processes. Troubleshoot issues to determine root causes, analyze data, and implement process or document improvements. Participate in technical teams, share expertise, and present project results to internal or external groups. Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Systems, Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical) plus 3–5 years of related experience, ORMaster’s degree in Engineering plus 2+ years of related experience.
