This is to include defining and piloting technical assembly processes that include creating work instructions and selecting proper tooling;\n\nTrain others on the proper assembly processes in a safe and efficient manner;\nSupport multiple assembly areas simultaneously as assigned;\nMaintain specifications and make adjustments as needed by observing and performing assembly operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and\nreprogramming tooling controls; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance;\n\nTroubleshoot processes issues and perform routine and minor maintenance. Submit work orders for the maintenance requirements;\nRead blueprints or job orders to determine product specification and tooling instructions;\nFollow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor, Works with Quality and Operations for problem solving initiatives;\nDetect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management;\nUse precision gauges and instruments such as micrometers to determine and follow customers specifications;\nCreate and maintains job aids & work instructions.\nSafety Compliance: Adhering to all safety requirements and procedures.\nEducation / Training\n5+ Years of Technical Assembly experience or Technical Degree;\nQualifications and Experience\nProblem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues during testing.\nAttention to Detail: Ability to meticulously record data and identify potential errors or anomalies.\nOrganizational Skills: Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and maintain organized records.\nKnowledge of Battery Chemistry: For roles involving testing of batteries (e.g., lithium-ion), a basic understanding of battery chemistry and performance characteristics is often required.\nExperience with Test Equipment: Familiarity with specific test equipment used in the cell testing process, such as battery testing equipment or engine test stands.\nStrong knowledge of PC/data entry;\nIntermediate level skills of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint);\nProficient in print reading with basic GD&T understanding;\nExperience in test specification reading and interpretation;\nBasic understanding of BOM and routing structure;\nAbility to comfortably present to team members and other area leaders;\nStrong interpersonal/communication/prioritization skills;\nStrong organizational skills;\nExperience training employees;\nDemonstrated ability to learn new applications/systems;\nWillingness to work overtime and flexible work schedule;\nSpecific site qualifications and progression may apply, consult with local team.\n\nPreferred Skills\n\nProficient in troubleshooting machinery startup, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems;\nProficient in reading and interpreting schematic drawings for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems;\nBasic skills of 2D AutoCAD layouts.\nBenefits\nCompensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience.
