Breakdowns will require troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components and circuits. The Engineer is part of a team that is responsible for the direction of our division toward improved reliability and lowering our dependency on hourly labor and outside vendors.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nProvide Leadership and Strategic directions regarding the use of Reliability and TPM implementation\n\nProvide essential safety inspections and repairs on injection machinery as necessary\n\nProvide quality installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and rebuilds of injection molding machinery. Specific experience with Husky, Engel, Krauss Maffei, Milacron, and Demag brands\n\nDevelops plans for testing injection equipment while applying knowledge of engineering technology as necessary\n\nDevelops plans for preventative maintenance techniques and procedures for injection machinery\n\nSupply technical advice or service for all injection machinery onsite and verbally\n\nMust be proficient in injection machinery controls\n\nMay conduct training in the operation and maintenance of injection machinery\n\nAssures injection machine performance at all plants in NASP\n\nMust be able to maintain good customer relations and communications with all plants and upper management\n\nCritical spare parts purchase recommendation and procurement\n\nMust be able to lead and train less experienced maintenance technicians when assigned to similar projects\n\nDesigns engineering solutions that meet the manufacturing facilities' requirements while monitoring budget constraints to maximize production equipment quality and efficiency\n\nAssists in the preparation of the scope of a project, cost justification, and AFE (overall cost proposal) to senior management for approval as required\n\nMaintains awareness of and controls project cost, quality, scope, and schedule to ensure on-time delivery of projects within internal budgets.
