Supervisor\nJOB TITLES REPORTING TO THIS POSITION: None\nROLE: To finish grind drill insert thickness.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nSet-up and run production (thickness grinding of high-speed steel and carbide blades)\nInspect print dimensions using digital indicator stand\nInspect parts for taper using digital indicator stand\nChange grinding wheels and truing wheels as required\nWash parts\nCommunicate application/operation problems to department leaders, and assist in testing/problem solving\nInspect ground surfaces for size and flatness specifications\nMust be able to access all on-line work instructions and Charts.\nObserve and report all areas that need addressed.\nMaintain a high quality level as well as a high rate of efficiency.\nWork in a safe manner at all times.\nCorrect reporting of job transactions.\nFill out NCR for blades that do not meet our quality standards\nFollow inspection plan\nMaintain low absenteeism/tardiness as determined by management.\nWillingness to follow instructions and procedures in a cooperative manner.\nProper use and care of micrometers and calipers.\nRead and understand blueprints.\nPlan flow of product through the cell to keep machines running and to maintain hitting the due dates\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nEducation\nHigh School Graduate or GED equivalent\nExperience\nWorking knowledge of finish grinding operations / preferred\nExperience with micrometers, calipers, and dial indicator gauges / preferred\nMust have completed 90-day probation. / preferred\nSkills\nGood math skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication\nDetail oriented, good planning and organizational skills.\nGood manual dexterity\nMinimum Requirements\nAble to lift 32 Lbs.\nAble to be on feet for 12 hours with continuous movement","company":"Allied Machine
