Your primary objective will be to ensure the successful execution of electrical projects, including planning, organizing, and coordinating activities related to design, installation, testing, and commissioning. You will collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.\nKey Responsibilities and Essential Tasks:\nCustomer Service:\nRespond to customer needs in a timely manner - same day response either by phone or email.\nResolve project issues or escalate as required to find resolution\nPromote the company Vision, Mission, Purpose and Values at all times\nKeep communication with Clients and proactively watch for future opportunities\nProvide a quality project at the best value possible\nProject Management:\nCreate and manage overall project schedule (Capacity Overview) and update as required or monthly at minimum\nPerform duties as outlined in the published Roles and Responsibility Matrix\nReview SIS’s weekly with Foremen and make labor adjustments as required\nLong Lead material procurement to minimize schedule and cost impacts\nAll required project documentation\nIdentify and resolve problems as they arise\nEnsure Quality Control program is in place on every assigned project\nFacilitate and coordinate work with all project required subcontracts and internal divisions\nManage Change Order Request estimating, negotiating and implementation\nIdentify, mitigate and present all project related claims and notice of delay\nUnderstand and provide comments during project contract review\nFollow all project close-out requirements\nManpower Management:\nEnsure project and Company safety measures and practices are followed at all times\nProvide accurate project manpower projections and update weekly\nParticipate in weekly manpower meetings\nManage field workforce and communicate issues to Human Resources\nProvide project information to all new workforce starting on the project\nManage and execute Corrective Action Plans as required\nMaterial Management:\nCoordinate major buyouts for projects with Pre-Award and Supply Chain\nReview Submittals for accuracy and provide mark-ups as required\nSubcontractor management (schedule, scope, budget)\nManage project purchasing\nMange project rentals\nManagement of support staff:\nManage day to day tasks of assigned Project Engineers\nProvide direction, training, and leadership for your team\nAssist with employee reviews\nManage and execute Corrective Action Plans as required\nManage vacations and overtime\nCoordination with other departments:\nPre-Award\nPerform budget/scope review with sales team prior to project turn over\nEngineering\nSet up and facilitate weekly design meetings\nProvide information and feedback on Design/Build projects during design\nProject Accounting\nReview and maintain job cost\nUpdating and understand monthly cost to complete (CTC)\nBudget management\nCreate and understand project Schedule of Values\nPerform monthly project billing markups\nWhat's in it for You?\nWe're growing and need people excited about honing their craft and developing their career.
