Press Brake Operator Job Responsibilities IncludeSetup and operate computer programmable/controlled brake press machinesMust be able to plan and layout bending sequence, referring to drawings and blueprintsBend products or assemblies of small, light average weight, to large heavy weightRequest assistance on large or heavy sheet metal blanksSetup up metal dies in performing operations in formingAll parts must be bent to close tolerancesRequires aligning, fitting and adjusting parts to meet operating requirementsTroubleshoot and rework pieces that fail testsAssist Engineering Personnel in modification, parts substitution, and revisionsPossible required minor machine maintenance proceduresCoordinates orders on by ship date.
