The engineer will work directly on prototype and production-intent vehicles to troubleshoot issues, perform calibration, collect data, validate control functions, and support vehicle commissioning.\n\nThe ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of control systems, vehicle dynamics, electric vehicle systems, CAN communication, and vehicle-level testing.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop and maintain vehicle control software using MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow.\n\nDevelop, integrate, and calibrate vehicle control functions across multiple vehicle platforms.\n\nSupport vehicle dynamics, drivability, powertrain, thermal, charging, and body control development.\n\nApply control-system principles to improve vehicle performance, stability, efficiency, and overall behavior.\n\nDevelop and tune control algorithms, state machines, fault handling, and system logic.\n\nIntegrate new electrical and electronic components into the vehicle control system.\n\nDevelop and maintain CAN communication interfaces and vehicle signals.\n\nSupport vehicle diagnostics, fault detection, and troubleshooting.\n\nAnalyze CAN logs, measurement data, and vehicle behavior to identify root causes.\n\nPerform hands-on vehicle calibration, commissioning, and validation.\n\nConduct road testing and vehicle-level functional testing.\n\nSupport software flashing, controller configuration, and calibration updates.\n\nReproduce production and field issues and validate corrective actions.\n\nPerform regression testing after software, calibration, or component changes.\n\nSupport EV charging and high-voltage system integration and validation.\n\nDevelop configurable software and calibration strategies that support multiple vehicle platforms.\n\nMaintain software versions, calibration files, and release documentation.\n\nSupport software release and validation activities.\n\nWork closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Vehicle Integration, Production, Quality, and Service teams.\n\nWork with suppliers to support component integration and troubleshooting.\n\nSupport prototype vehicle builds and engineering development activities.\n\nDrive controls-related issues through root-cause analysis, corrective action, validation, and closure.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Controls Engineering, or related field.\n\nExperience with control systems, automotive controls, embedded systems, or vehicle development.\n\nExperience with MATLAB/Simulink and/or Stateflow.\n\nUnderstanding of vehicle dynamics and vehicle system behavior.\n\nUnderstanding of CAN communication.\n\nStrong analytical and
