Successful delivery employees enjoy being out on the road, put safety first and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction.Successfully handle and deliver packages on timeSafely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicleFollow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policiesProvide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditionsKeep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck without a helper on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locationsCommunicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completedUse smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team membersLoad and unload packages in delivery vehicleSupport the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routesCompany DescriptionThis is a Full-Time Delivery Associate (DA) position with Ethos Fleet, LLC a Delivery Service Partner (DSP) delivering packages to Amazon customers! As a DSP, we are committed to meeting high standards for safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.We are looking for team players who desire to grow with the CompanyMilitary veterans are welcome!Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatoryAs we grow, supervisory roles will be availablePrevious Driver Associate experience is a plus, but not mandatoryStrong time management and organizational skillsPunctuality, dependability, and team-oriented mindset are essentialWe deliver from a local Amazon warehouse, DYY9, Syosset location.QualificationsMust be at least 21 years oldMust hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's licenseMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skillsAvailable to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)Additional Information10-hour shifts are typical$23.50/ hour4 - day workweek 40 hours is typicalSchedule for FT Team Members is a rotation where team members should not work more than 3 consecutive days, allowing for more personal time; drivers typically are required to work at least one weekend day.Expect daytime shift with future potential to work 2nd shift if desiredA minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal breakOpportunity for performance incentives and bonusesBENEFITS: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance (Note: Employees who work on average less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance).
