Position's Details* Location: Americus, GA* Assignment Type: Travel Contract* Schedule: Full-Time* School Year: 2026–2027* Start Date: August 2026* Duration: Full 2026–2027 School YearResponsibilities* Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.* Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive written reports.* Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions.* Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to develop effective intervention strategies.* Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health concerns.* Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral support planning as needed.* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.Pay:Your hourly pay rate depends on your valid experience and qualifications. Qualifications* Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.* Active Georgia School Psychologist certification/licensure or ability to obtain before start.* 2 years of previous school-based experience preferred, but also open to new grads with valid licensure.* Strong assessment, report-writing, and consultation skills.* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary educational team.
