Using Docusign’s Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).\n\nWhat you'll do\n\nThe Payroll Analyst is responsible for proactive collaboration with key internal business partners within the Global Payroll organization and our third party vendors, and requires independent thinking in handling payroll analysis and validations for Japan, Singapore and Australia.\n\nThis position is an individual contributor role reporting to Senior Manager, Global Payroll.\n\nResponsibility\n\nSupport the processing of international (Japan, Singapore, Australia) payrolls, ensuring timely and accurate payroll execution\n\nReview, validate, and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy in payments, reporting, and record-keeping\n\nProvide leadership and mentorship to staff members\n\nIdentify and implement payroll efficiencies and automate strategies\n\nEnsure accurate quarter-end and year-end payroll processing, including federal, state, and local tax reconciliations for international payrolls\n\nReceive, review, and analyze payroll-related tax notices from federal, state, and local agencies\n\nTrack, document, and respond to tax notices, ensuring timely resolution in partnership with tax vendors or agencies\n\nProvide exceptional customer service by responding to complex payroll and tax-related inquiries from employees, managers, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), HR Operations, and external vendors\n\nDraft and maintain clear, detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for payroll processes\n\nSupport payroll-related projects and initiatives as assigned\n\nProvide payroll data and reporting to internal stakeholders as needed\n\nProcess workers' compensation audit reconciliations\n\nAssist with audits as necessary\n\nJob Designation\n\nRemote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.\n\nPositions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.\n\nWhat you bring\n\nBasic\n\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field\n\n5+ years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years supporting international payrolls (specifically Japan, Singapore, and/or Australia)\n\nExperience with end-to-end payroll processing, including tax reconciliation and compliance\n\nExperience with payroll systems and tools (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, or equivalent)\n\nExperience reviewing, auditing, and reconciling complex payroll data with high attention to detail\n\nExperience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision\n\nExperience with Microsoft Excel and experience with reporting tools\n\nPreferred\n\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across HR, Finance, and external stakeholders\n\nGlobal Payroll Management (GPM), Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), or other payroll-related certification\n\nExperience leading or mentoring payroll team members\n\nHands-on experience with payroll operations in Japan, Singapore, and Australia, including local compliance and statutory requirements\n\nFamiliarity with tax agency correspondence and resolution processes for international payrolls\n\nExperience supporting payroll-related audits and workers' compensation reconciliations\n\nProven success in driving process improvement initiatives and automation within payroll functions\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset\n\nWage Transparency\n\nPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.\n\nBased on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:\n\nCalifornia: $98,000.00 - $142,450.00 base salary\n\nIllinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $93,500.00 - $121,475.00 base salary\n\nWashington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $93,500.00 - $127,400.00 base salary\n\nWashington DC: $98,000.00 - $127,400.00 base salary\n\nOhio: $83,500.00 - $108,550.00 base salary\n\nThis role is also eligible for the following:\n\nBonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals.
