The sensor technician performs tasks and functions related to the repair of temperature sensors. The sensor technician is an entry level small parts assembler position. 1st Shift Position\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nWork under a microscope to assemble small parts.\nAdheres to company procedures and policies regarding Team Members and quality issues.\nMaintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.\nUse multimeters and voltage test equipment\nBasic use of a tape measure and hand tools\nOther duties as assigned\nRequirements:\n\nEducation:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred\n\nWork Experience:\n\nPrevious experience in a manufacturing assembly environment working with small parts preferred\nMust have good dexterity and precision when required to work with extremely small and fragile items\n1 year of brazing or soldering experience preferred\nAbility to work on multiple projects throughout a day\n\nSpecialized Knowledge or Abilities:\n\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate orally and in writing.\nBasic knowledge of the use of a hand tools and small drills\nAbility to independently work on multiple projects throughout a day.\n\nPhysical Demands:\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\n\nWork Environment:\n\nControlled temperature environment.\n\nDOT-FAA Safety Sensitive Position.
