We are passionate about creating safe communities and delivering excellence in every project.Job Location: West Sacramento, CAKey Responsibilities Perform essential vegetation management tasks, including:Trimming, removing, bucking, and limbing trees using chainsaws and proper cutting techniques.Operating and maintaining equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and company vehicles.Setting up job sites, managing debris clean-up, and ensuring traffic control.Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of climbing gear, vehicles, and equipment.Execute tree climbing and rigging duties, including:Performing pre-climb inspections and ascending trees using approved methods.Using friction hitches for safe ascent and descent.Performing roping and rigging operations, including tying approved knots and hitches.Executing proper notching and back-cutting techniques for safe tree felling.Support team operations and communication:Assisting climbers or bucket operators from the ground and acting as a spotter to ensure crew and public safety.Communicating effectively with team members and customers to ensure smooth operations.Participating in ongoing safety and skills training, including aerial rescue drills and routine certifications.Requirements Experience & Qualifications:Minimum 18 months of line clearance experience.Must be a Line Clearance Qualified Arborist.Ability to perform all climbing duties without direct supervision.Must pass a documented skills assessment.Capable of performing general labor tasks for a full workday in various outdoor conditions.Valid Driver's License (CDL a plus)Required Certifications:Completed and signed:Groundperson TrainingClimber TrainingBucket Operator TrainingAnnual Aerial Rescue TrainingTree Feller TrainingCompleted LCQP book and passed LCCP testCPR and First Aid Certification (within 90 days of hire)ITS BadgeEEO Statement:ArborWorks, LLC is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified candidates will receive consideration without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.
