W In October of 2010, CALMRA opened a day program in Laurel, MD to provide day services to seniors or those with age-related disabilities, cognitive disabilities, and/or physical disabilities.\n\nThe mission of CALMRA, INC. is to improve the lives of persons with developmental disabilities by providing the highest quality residential and other support services in an ethical and loving environment.\nPROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nThe Program Administrator is responsible for the standards of care for that is outlined in the Job Description and for adherence to all CALMRA, INC’s policies.\n\nPRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASK:\nThe following statements describe the general nature and level of the work performed. They should not be considered an exhaustive of all duties. Employees may perform other related duties as required.\n\nResponsibilities:\nSupervision of Staff\nLicensing and Regulation/Household Monitoring\nPublic Benefits/Finances\nCommunity Relations/Liaison\nCommunity Resource/Participation\nAdministration\n\nEssential Job Functions\nSupervision of Staff\nEnsure House Supervisors are conducting team meetings and PCP goal trainings assist staff as needed\nInterview and hire appropriate residential staff\nMonitor completion of all personnel requirements\nMonitor completion of all training requirements\nConduct or assist in all areas of staff discipline and/or terminations\nConduct or assist in all employee evaluations\nOrient all new staff to the agency and their jobs tasks\nEnsure homes have appropriate staffing – working as direct care coverage may be required in emergency situations\nApprove/disapprove all overtime, vacation, and other leave\n\nLicensing and Regulations/Household Monitoring\nEnsure each home meets or exceeds standards in the following areas:\nPhysical Structure\nPerson-Centered Plans\nMedical or other assessments\nDocumentation\nConduct monthly in-home monitoring and report and follow-up on findings\nAttend all Person-Centered plan and other Team Meetings – ensure all PCP documents are prepared and submitted on time\nEnsure all items in need of replacement/repair are done in a timely manner\nAct as liaison to any/all licensing agents\nReport all incidents to Supervisor, DDA and OHCQ within required time frames and follow up as needed\nResponsible for responding to and handling calls/issues after hours, including weekends and overnights\n\nFinances\nMonitor finances of residents\nApprove expenditures of Personal Needs Allowance according to regulations\n\nCommunity Relations/Community Liaison\nAct as community liaison for CALMRA with regards to community neighborhood concerns\nMaintain positive community relations with all neighbors\nRepresent CALMRA at public meetings/events as directed\nAct as liaison to public offices (Coordination of Community Services (CCS’), MACS, DSS, DDA, OHCQ, and other Community resources)\n\nCommunity Resources/Participation\nMaintain community resource information\nAssist staff to ensure community participation by residents\nEnsure family contacts are maintained/improved\n\nAdministration\nAttend Executive functions as directed\nParticipate in established community groups\nConduct special projects as directed\nComplete and maintain all trainings as required\n\nOTHER FUNCTIONS:\nPerforms other related duties as assigned\n\nREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:\n\nRequires knowledge of correct English grammar and usage\nGood computer knowledge and skills\nGood interpersonal and communication skills\nAbility to perform basic mathematical calculations\nAbility to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbal and in writing\nAbility to work in a team setting\n\nMINIMUM EDUCATION, LICENSE AND EXPERIENCE:\nMaster’s Degree and three years’ experience or Bachelor’s Degree and five years' experience in increasingly responsible position; Proven ability in administrative, personnel and financial areas of a residential (or similar) program\nAbility to drive a car/van and have reliable transportation to perform duties\nGood driving record\nClean background and credit check","company":"Calmra","rawCompany":"calmra","city":"Laurel","state":"MD","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-07-16T17:59:21.445Z","occupations":[{"code":"11-9151.00","title":"Social and Community Service Managers","slug":"social-and-community-service-managers"},{"code":"21-1093.00","title":"Social and Human Service Assistants","slug":"social-and-human-service-assistants"},{"code":"21-1099.00","title":"Community and Social Service Specialists, All Other","slug":"community-and-social-service-specialists-all-other"}],"industries":[{"code":"623990","title":"Other Residential Care Facilities","slug":"other-residential-care-facilities"},{"code":"624120","title":"Services for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities","slug":"services-for-the-elderly-and-persons-with-disabilities"},{"code":"623210","title":"Residential Intellectual and Developmental Disability Facilities","slug":"residential-intellectual-and-developmental-disability-facilities"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Program Administrator","description":"CALMRA serves adults, age 18 years or older, with cognitive disabilities.
