The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing complex data-oriented solutions on the Azure Data Platform, with multiple integrations and reporting needs. This role requires a combination of solutioning, consulting, and hands-on experience to lead multiple Data and Analytics projects and provide technical guidance to teams.Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of complex data-oriented solutions on the Azure Data Platform with multiple integrations and reporting needs. Work with customers and teams to lead technical or business discussions and provide technical guidance. Envision, design, and implement technical solutions, working closely with VP-Data & AI, customers and internal technical teams. Create data pipelines and integrate multiple data sources using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks. Perform data processing and transformation using Databricks (Scala/Python). Design data storage database schema, data models, and processing on Azure Synapse DW. Optimize cost and performance of data pipelines. Build scalable, high-performance reporting solutions using Power BI in both shared and dedicated capacity. Integrate Power BI reports with custom applications using Power BI Embedded or Premium. Develop data models in Power BI and optimize performance for analytical and reporting workloads. Define data access policies and security for Azure data services. Integrate AI/ML models with data and reporting solutions. Provide design and implementation guidance to teams and lead multiple Data and Analytics projects.Qualifications: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in architecture and design of highly scalable, performant, and resilient data and analytical solutions. Proven experience as a Senior Architect/Consultant/Engineer, leading the design and implementation of complex data-oriented solutions on the Azure Data Platform. Extensive experience (5+ projects) in building solutions for Data Pipelines, Data Warehousing, and Data Modeling on Azure Data Platform (AWS, GCP experience is a plus). Proficiency in designing and developing Data Pipelines and ETL processes using ADF and Databricks. Experience working with Data Lake and Synapse on Azure. Strong proficiency with Azure SQL Server and extensive experience in SQL programming. Skilled in programming and optimizing database objects like Views, Stored Procedures, and Functions. Experience defining data access policies and security for Azure data services. Experience integrating AI/ML models with data and reporting solutions. Proven ability to build API layers for downstream consumption. Expertise in building scalable, high-performance reporting solutions using Power BI. Experience working with Power BI Paginated Reports and integrating Power BI reports with custom applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.CompQsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
