This hands-on, client-facing role focuses on troubleshooting, optimizing, and integrating packaging equipment across labeling, cartoning, serialization, and syringe assembly operations. The engineer will also lead technology transfers and support new product introductions . Key Responsibilities: · Troubleshoot and optimize labeling, cartoning, serialization, and syringe assembly equipment. · Lead line setups, changeovers, and carton/label artwork evaluations to improve throughput and reduce waste. · Drive equipment performance improvements, OEE, and operational efficiency. · Support capital equipment projects (specification, vendor selection, FAT/SAT, commissioning). · Lead packaging-related technology transfers for new and existing products. · Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and clients to resolve packaging issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives. · Ensure compliance with GMP standards and maintain strong on-floor presence. Required Experience & Skills: · 3–10 years engineering experience in cGMP-controlled pharmaceutical or medical device packaging operations. · Hands-on experience with automated packaging equipment (labelers, cartoners, serialization, syringe assembly). · Strong troubleshooting, line integration, and material flow optimization skills. · Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, SMED, and structured problem-solving. · Strong communication skills for cross-functional and client interactions. Education: · Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
