Our family of talented and focused professionals enjoy PE Systems’ generous PTO and Holidays, great benefits and great pay.\nVoted Best Places to Work in Dayton since 2022!\nGeneral Function:\nThe Contractor shall be proficient using Visual Studio programming environment developing web applications using ASP.Net (VB, C#, MVC).\nProvide hardware and software engineering support for embedded software, software interfaces, cryptographic systems, and interoperability across sensors, weapons, host platforms, communications, and command and control systems\nConduct software analysis, including interfacing and performance analysis for both Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) products\nPerform software architecture reviews to assess design effectiveness and alignment with system requirements\nEvaluate and support software development processes to ensure efficient and effective software lifecycle management\nAssess configuration management (CM) processes and tools to ensure proper version control and traceability\nEvaluate and support software test systems and capabilities to verify and validate software functionality and performance\nPossess knowledge and experience in the full lifecycle of software engineering, including design, development, testing, evaluation, implementation, maintenance, and administration\nSupport system acquisition processes by applying knowledge of hardware and software integration at both system and subsystem levels\nPerform systems requirements analysis and allocation to ensure traceability between system needs and software design\nUnderstand and apply principles of computer systems architecture in support of system integration and software engineering tasks\nAssist in the testing and evaluation of systems and subsystems to validate functional and performance requirements\nReview, develop, and update software engineering-related program documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness\nSupport the development of software engineering strategies, including the software development strategy and Software Development Plan (SDP)\nApply understanding of aeronautical vehicle systems and/or airborne or ground-based systems to software engineering efforts\nSupport avionics Operational Flight Program (OFP) capabilities as they relate to software engineering tasks within core engineering activities\nQualifications:\nEducation/Certifications/Experience/Skills:\nMA Degree and over 10 years of related experience, OR, BA Degree and over 15 years of related experience.\nMust possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.\nMust be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project).\nMust be able to perform all functional duties independently.\nMust be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required.
