Working closely with the program manager under general management guidance, they manage moderately complex contracts ranging from $5 to $20 million.\nResponsibilities:\nInvolves regular interaction with all levels of FMS’s operations/senior staff, customers regulatory bodies, and major suppliers.\nAssists the Service Department with preparing accurate quotations for the various FMS Programs.\nEnsures service quotes are submitted accurately and on time.\nCommunicate with the customers regularly for status updates regarding submitted quotes.\nProcesses contracts/orders received in response to submitted service quotes.\nDevelop a working knowledge of the work being quoted to be able to address questions from customers.\nEnsures all contract deliverables have been provided prior to closing the project.\nParticipates in regular interface meetings with other FMS departments to ensure effective information flow, provides program guidance, and obtains program/contract status.\nAttends \"as required\" meetings to participate in the resolution of issues related to the project to which they have been assigned.\nCommunicates with program customers to provide project status and resolves issues ranging from schedule and technical compliance to service and warranty clarification.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent; or three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nThree (3) years’ experience in project leadership.\nThree (3) years of United States government contracting experience preferred.\nWorking knowledge of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Standard Items and Familiarization with American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) rules and regulations.\nNot required but highly desirable: a current PMP certification\nSage (Accounting software) experience would be huge.\nPeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs across 8 states.
