Light Duty Driver

Light Duty Roll-off DriverThe light duty roll-off truck driver position is a non-CDL role that is responsible for delivering and picking up dumpsters and disposing at various sites and transfer stations in an appropriate manner.Essential functions include:Operates light duty roll-off trucksPerforms required pre-trip and post trip inspections and provides required reportsProvides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operationsAbility to operate safely within DOT rules and regulationsParticipate in company safety programsMaintains and protects all propertyInforms on-duty mechanic of any maintenance issues with equipment and/or vehiclesFuels truck at the end of each workdayPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired qualifications:Have a valid Minnesota Class D LicenseAbility to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid health cardAbility to lift and carry a minimum of 50 poundsDriver must be minimum of 18 years old per DOT.Education and/or experience:High school diploma or GED preferredMust have a clean driving recordWork conditions include:Outdoor environment; exposure to extreme weather conditions; work with and around heavy machinery; exposure to dust and fumes from motorized equipment; exposure to noise, odors and gases; exposure to heavy traffic conditions, possible exposure to toxic chemicals.Competencies:Reasoning or problem-solving skillsProfessionalismCustomer service skillsDecision MakingLeadershipTime ManagementProfessional attitudePunctualityPhysical demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
