Occasional travel by automobile and airplane may be required for business purposes.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nRespond to customer inquiries and complaints related to work orders, shipments, and inventory counts.\nReport customer feedback to management for continuous improvement.\nServe as a liaison between customers and internal teams for account administration, invoicing, and credit changes.\nGenerate and process paperwork for customer work orders, including special requests, expediting orders, tracking, and maintaining inventory records.\nVerify computer-generated invoices to ensure proper account billing.\nProvide clerical support by overseeing order paperwork, maintaining files, answering phones, and greeting visitors.\nSchedule loads, maintain updated reports, and resolve issues with refused product, over short, and damaged orders.\nOther essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.\n\nWhat Experience and Education You Need\n\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.\nMinimum 0 years of experience required in customer service or clerical work.\nAbility to communicate clearly with customers and team members in writing and verbally.\nDemonstrated ability to resolve customer complaints efficiently.\nAccurate typing and data entry skills.\n\nWhat Could Set You Apart\n\nAbility to manage multiple tasks efficiently.\nAdaptability and initiative in dynamic work environments.\nExperience working with challenging customers.\nUnderstanding of customer product storage and handling requirements.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with colleagues and respond appropriately to feedback.\nFamiliarity with Warehouse Management Systems.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office Suite.\nExperience operating desktop computers.\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nRequires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, reaching, and/or bending.\nRequires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work, including the operation of computers, telephones, and similar equipment.\nRequires ability to comprehend and communicate with others verbally and/or in writing.\nMay require travel by automobile and airplane for business.\nMay require visits to warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing.\nMay require the occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, and/or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.\n\nAmericold is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
