This position is responsible for advanced threat detection, incident response planning, cyber resiliency strategy, and compliance with enterprise and federal security standards. The Security Engineer acts as a subject matter expert and collaborates across teams and with external partners to protect mission-critical applications and infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:\nLead the development of enterprise-wide cloud security policies, incident response plans, and cyber resiliency strategies.\nDesign, implement, and continuously improve secure cloud-based architectures and monitoring systems.\nAnalyze complex security data to detect, remediate, and prevent cyber threats.\nGuide platform and application teams on secure coding and architecture best practices.\nCoordinate vulnerability management activities and provide actionable recommendations.\nRepresent the organization in coordination with industry and government security partners.\nOversee COMSEC operations and crypto key management systems (CKMS).\nEnsure compliance with federal and industry standards, including NIST, CNSSI 4009, and DoD policies.\nMentor junior engineers and lead security-related projects from concept to deployment.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nMust have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of obtaining SCI CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirements.\nMaster’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field.\n8+ years of cybersecurity experience, with 3+ years in a cloud security role.\nDeep knowledge of cloud security across cloud environments.\nExpertise insecurity architecture, network defense, data protection, and threat modeling.\nDemonstrated experience in incident response, log correlation, and risk assessments.\nStrong communication and leadership skills; capable of briefing executives and managing cross-functional security efforts.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nCertifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security, or GCIH strongly preferred.\n\nAbout E-INFOSOL\nE-INFOSOL is a Service Disabled and Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
