The Sr. Analyst works closely with team leadership to ensure integration of operations and maintenance to team standards. He/she will have experience in Agile/Lean, DevOps, and an understanding of the tools to support such as ALM, Kanban, etc. He/she exhibits a high service attitude and operations discipline to deliver a 24x7, highly-available and highly-performing, production applications. He/she reviews incidents and project deliverables ensuring his/her activities meet or exceed service level agreements, and that requested work is completed on time. He/she will look for opportunities to drive down MTTR and MTBF with a focus on the automation of repetitive tasks, proactive notification, and application self-healing. He/she has proven experience in the system operations and administration of multiple applications.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nExecutes day-to-day operational tasks\r\nPerforms software & server administrative tasks\r\nParticipates in application performance optimization activities\r\nPerforms monitoring & control of global production environment\r\nFirst escalation point for all analysts\r\nParticipates in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation\r\nTroubleshoots technical issues relating to configuration, data & deployments\r\nEnsures applications are available & reliable\r\nManages the global application & systems production operations environment\r\nEnsures the readiness of disaster recovery & continuity capability is maintained\r\nEnsures production application data is backed-up\r\nSupports application architecture based on standards & requirements\r\nParticipates in status calls & represents the team at project meetings\r\nComplies with and ensures compliance to established change control processes\r\nDevelops custom tools to improve day-to-day processes\r\nContributes to Client's application documentation\r\nDistributes operational reports\r\nWorks from Kanban/Agile tools\r\nQualifications\r\nEducation: Bachelor's Degree\r\nYears of Experience: 7+\r\nCollege Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience\r\nTechnical Skills\r\nAdministration of Microsoft Windows Platform\r\nScripting languages such as Visual Basic Script, Java Script, PowerShell, Shell/Bash, and automation\r\nExperience supporting J2EE Applications in an enterprise environment\r\nKnowledge and experience with Vignette, Oracle WebLogic, Apache/Tomcat, IBM WAS/eWAS, JBOSS, Oracle Java, Eclipse IDE, IBM Rational, IBM HTTP, IBM Build Forge, Linux Platform, and Oracle (plus)\r\nBasic knowledge of LANs/WANs (firewalls, proxy servers, load balancing hardware, network devices), Microsoft Clustering, .NET, SAN, SMTP, SQL, and Active Directory\r\nAbility to specify data collection and thresholds and analyze complex results; provide recommendations or solutions including basic linear trending; provide knowledge of management reporting process and guidelines\r\nAbility to participate in business impact assessment and risk assessment processes and help identify appropriate controls to mitigate identified risks; understands and can communicate requirements of member firms and external regulatory bodies for data privacy\r\nDefines infrastructure architecture and ensures architectural standards are applied and aligned to enterprise architecture principles; identifies potential risk of proposed infrastructure strategies; ensures alignment of systems design to underlying infrastructure architecture\r\nDemonstrates expertise of IT governance concepts; understands and manages relationships of all OIM relevant stakeholders; manages portfolio and business drivers of components; supports execution of primary goals of IT governance\r\nKnowledge of performance testing process and methodology for different types of software projects; standard performance testing processes and techniques; strong ability to understand business requirements and provide strong analysis of performance testing results\r\nContributes to design activities and applies architecture design techniques; leverages design activities for cross-functional purposes\r\nMonitors consistency in written materials; assesses audience needs and level of understanding for written materials; contributes samples and leading practices in the area of written materials\r\nBuilds collaborative alliances with major external technology vendors and understands critical information about future-oriented technologies;
