The Program Data Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining the electronic program guide (EPG) for the TCT Television Network. This role ensures the accurate and timely input of programming schedules and metadata, offering viewers a seamless experience in accessing content. This is a fully on-site position located in Akron, Ohio. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The position is eligible for health benefits, paid time off and participation in the organization's 403(b) retirement program.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nInput and update program schedules, descriptions and metadata into the EPG system.\nVerify the accuracy of program titles, times and details to ensure correct broadcast information.\nCoordinate with Programming/Traffics/Production teams to ensure schedules align with broadcast timelines.\nWrite and proofread concise program descriptions that reflect the Christian network's values.\nMonitor and ensure all EPG entries comply with regulatory standards and network guidelines.\nArchive and maintain historical programming data for reference and reporting.\nLiaise with external EPG providers and platforms to troubleshoot and resolve listing issues.\nWork closely with marketing, production, and technical teams to integrate updates.\nPerform routine checks on the EPG to ensure accuracy, correcting discrepancies as necessary.\nCompile reports on schedule performance and viewer accessibility for management review.\nBack up for Data Entry to Traffic Department as needed.\n\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in communications, media, or a related field preferred.\nPrior experience in broadcasting, scheduling, or clerical work is highly desirable.\nKnowledge of FCC or similar regulatory guidelines for broadcasting is a plus.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.\nExcellent written communication and proofreading skills.\nStrong organizational and time-management abilities.\nA strong alignment with the values and mission of the Christian television network.\nAbility to work collaboratively within a team and independently.\nFlexibility to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
