Residential Services Supervisor

Available Position:
Location: Council Bluffs, IA
Full-time; 40 hours per week
Monday-Friday; primarily day hours with some on-call hours as needed
Wage: $15.50 to $20.25 (based on experience)
Hiring Bonus: $1,000 (paid in three increments)
In this role, you will supervise, coordinate and evaluate residential service program and host home providers. Oversee the day-to-day operation of the program including delivery of supports, implementation of person-centered plans, health care, advocacy, customer engagement, regulatory compliance and when applicable.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise, evaluate, and coordinate activities of shared living/host home providers
Assist shared living/host home providers with consumers’ participation in life enrichment activities
Verify and maintain accurate documentation requirements
Evaluate needs of individuals served and plans for continuing services
Drive motor vehicle to complete home visits at specified locations
Attend Individual Support Plan (ISP) and/or Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings as required
Perform an initial assessment for each consumer
Create, review, and monitor consumer personal budgets
Conduct intake meetings and annual meetings for consumers entering or continuing services
Maintain compliance with licensing regulation standards and state guidelines
Review and verify accurate billing
Develop and implement programming based on consumer assessment and ISP
Complete and review GER’s for accuracy
Complete shared living and host home assessments and home studies
Provide oversight of contractor training requirements

Requirements:
Two (2) years’ experience in a related area, preferably with individuals with developmental disabilities or an undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s) with a major or minor of study from an accredited college or university
One (1) year in supervisory or management capacity.
Must be at least 19 years of age
Completion of High School Diploma or GED
Possess a valid driver's license and current auto insurance
Pass all background checks: criminal, DMV, dependent adult and child abuse registry

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a teamA
