This position plays a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality repairs and installations while providing world-classcustomer service to our valued customers.Why Join Suburban Ford of Romeo?Stable, dealership-based environmentSupportive team and professional atmosphereOpportunity for advancementOpportunity to work with modern vehicles and advanced safety technologyWhat You’ll DoInstall windshields and automotive glass in our shop and through a mobile service unitRepair rock chips and other minor glass damagePerform automotive window tint installations, including side windows, rear glass, and windshields (where permitted)Prepare glass surfaces by thoroughly cleaning and removing contaminants prior to glass or tint installationRemove and replace existing glass or window tint when requiredCut, shape, and apply window tint film using proper tools and techniques to ensure a high-quality, bubble-free finishCalibrate advanced vehicle electronics and safety systems, including ADAS, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, and similar technologiesEnsure all glass and tint work meets dealership quality standards and state/local regulationsInspect completed work to ensure proper fit, adhesion, and appearanceProcess payments from mobile service customers (if applicable)Interact professionally with customers to explain services, care instructions, and answer questionsMaintain a professional appearance, clean work area, and positive attitudeDeliver World Class customer service to customers and vendors at all timesWhat We’re Looking For2+ year of automotive glass installation experience2+ year of automotive window tinting experience (certification or formal training a plus)Valid driver’s license with the ability to pass an MVR checkProficiency working with multiple types of automotive glassStrong knowledge of tools, equipment, and techniques used in glass repair and replacementAbility to read and interpret technical instructions and specificationsExcellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and work ethicMust be 18 years of age or olderComfortable with the physical demands of the jobPhysical DemandsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to maneuver safely around vehicles during installationsFrequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, grasping, pulling, and turningAbility to work for extended periods of timeWillingness to work in hot and cold weather conditions as neededApply today and become part of a dealership committed to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.We Offer Best In Class Industry BenefitsCompetitive payMedical, Dental and Vision PlansPaid Holidays & PTOShort and Long-Term DisabilityPaid Life Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanEmployee Stock Purchase PlanLithia Learning CenterHigh School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
