Embroidery Production Manager

About Us: We are a growing embroidery and garment decoration business specializing in high-quality, custom-branded apparel. With a focus on efficiency and craftsmanship, we provide top-tier embroidered and heat-pressed products to our customers. We are seeking an experienced Embroidery Production Manager to lead our shop, oversee operations, and ensure top-quality production with our team of three machine operators. Position Overview: The Embroidery Production Manager will be responsible for managing daily shop operations, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality control, and leading a small team of operators. The ideal candidate has experience running Tajima embroidery machines and heat press operations, along with strong leadership skills to maintain a well-organized and productive environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage embroidery and heat press production schedules to meet deadlines. Operate and maintain Tajima embroidery machines and heat press equipment. Train and supervise a team of three or more embroidery operators to ensure high-quality work. Troubleshoot machine issues, adjust settings, and oversee maintenance to minimize downtime. Monitor workflow and implement process improvements to increase efficiency. Ensure quality control standards are met for all embroidered and heat-pressed products. Maintain an organized and clean work environment. Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Manage inventory of threads, backing, vinyl, and other supplies. Adhere to and enforce safety and operational procedures. Qualifications & Requirements: 2+ years of experience operating and managing Tajima embroidery machines. Experience with heat press applications for garment decoration. Strong understanding of embroidery digitizing software (Wilcom, Pulse, or similar). Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot embroidery machine issues and perform routine maintenance. Experience with Deconetwork shop management software is preferred Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency. Ability to multitask and manage workflow in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and team leadership abilities. Benefits & Compensation: Starting at $14-16 hour depending on experience level.
