This role requires someone local to California who is comfortable working in an ONSITE environment. Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend services and APIs using Java (preferably Java 8 or higher).Design and implement data integration solutions using Big Query.Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale datasets in Big Query.Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand business requirements and ensure high data quality and performance.Work in Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration/deployment.Build data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources into Big Query using appropriate ETL/ELT strategies.Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for Java applications and Big Query workflows.Ensure best practices in software engineering, cloud data security, and compliance.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks.
