If this sounds interesting, we’d like to meet you.\nJob Summary\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Quality Engineer located in Henrico, VA.\nReporting to the Quality Manager the Quality Engineer will be maintaining quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nDevelops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.\nDevises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data.\nDevelops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost.\nDirects workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability.\nCompiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.\nHolds up Product Engineers and Quality Program Managers with customer interfaces as necessary on quality related issues.\nAssures data availability and integrity for all quality related data. Consolidates and reports quality results.\nInitiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion.\nAssists with development and implementation of quality audits.\nIn charge of developing, applying, revising and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.\nDesigns and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment.\nExplores reports and returned products and recommends corrective action.\nEstablishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement and research of equipment and facilities.\nApproves product, process and equipment qualifications.\nProvides liaison to various regulatory bodies.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team,\nTypically requires a bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.\nTypically requires 4 -6 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related field.\nExperience with audits, data collection/analysis, CAPAs, supplier interactions, creating standard methods/procedures, and RCAs.\nExperience with ISO9001 standards a plus\nExperience with Electromechanical assemblies preferred\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical benefits, dental, vision\nLife Insurance\nMatching 401K\nPTO\nTuition Reimbursement\nEmployee discounts at local retailers\nEC37\nJob Category\nQuality\nAnord Mardix is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
