With years of experienced team members and a commitment to excellence, we have built a reputation for delivering reliable and durable products on time and within budget.Core Responsibility:Measure, compare and make simple or complex shop calculations necessary to ensure products are in conformance with engineering or sales specifications using materials, methods and equipment in the shop (included but not limited to sanders, drills, air, and electric hand cutting tools)Material fit ups and layouts with steelPosition and secure workpieces using hand tools, forklifts, etc.Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctionsSanding/grindingBreaking out steelSteel panel assembly with bolt together constructionMaterial handling/forkliftRequirements:HS Diploma or equivalent, requiredManufacturing experience, preferredAble to use power toolsAble to read tape measureAble to lift 50 lbs.Able to read blueprintsAble to troubleshoot and problem solveMust be highly motivatedAble to communicate and work well with othersRead, write and speak English fluentlyEqual Opportunity Employer/Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Tomball Controls is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
