Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\n\nSupport several manufacturing processes to ensure equipment uptime, meet production goals and maintain high product quality.\nPrepare and maintain manufacturing documentation (Routings, BOM’s, Standard Work, and Work Instructions) for new and existing equipment in manufacturing.\nIdentify opportunities and lead projects to improve productivity, reduce costs, improve quality and achieve on time delivery to meet production needs.\nLead new equipment financial justifications, installations, process modifications and improvements.\nWork with operators, team leads, value stream managers, and planners to optimize process center layouts and designs incorporating material flow and line balancing.\nInterface with Maintenance and operators to troubleshoot equipment problems.\nCoordinate with Product Development to successfully launch new products into a high-volume and diverse manufacturing environment.\nChampion Lean Manufacturing across the plant through cross-functional events and Continuous Improvement projects.\n\nYOU HAVE:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering\n5+ years of experience\nExperience leading teams or significant cross-functional projects.\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers\nDesire to work in a hands-on, manufacturing plant environment\nProficient use of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement preferable\nExperience with AutoCAD and 3D Modeling preferable\n\nWE HAVE:\n\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\n\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
