Development Engineer","description":"General Role Description\nResearch, assist in the development and deployment of new systems and technologies\n\nRole Accountabilities\n\nIdentify new technologies that have the potential to address the present, but unfilled, needs of our clients, or that create demand as a direct result of significant performance improvements that will provide a level of direct benefit to our clients sufficient to differentiate the Company from our competitors\n\nEvaluate the feasibility, cost, and benefits of incorporating new technologies in the Company's automation and/or power converter products\n\nIncorporate selected technologies into the Company's automation and/or power converter products in cooperation with the Company, parent company, and third-party development teams, as assigned\n\nRecommend modifications to existing tools and features of new tools that are necessary to support the engineering and commissioning of products that incorporate selected technologies\n\nDevelop effective working relationships and productive communication with parent company\n\nPerform engineering design, development planning, and project execution in coordination with the parent company, as assigned\n\nPrepare detailed engineering documentation, including user manual, design specifications, test plan, and technical reports, as assigned\n\nResolve client design issues with new products, including troubleshooting issues at the job site if necessary, and documenting issues for escalation to development engineering, under the direction of appropriate technical personnel\n\nRecommend product upgrades and changes to promote safety and functionality\n\nPerform development testing activities as assigned to ensure work is accomplished productively and safely\n\nDevelop effective working relationships and productive communication with parent company to facilitate cooperation and coordination in design and development planning and project execution\n\nGeneral Employee Accountabilities\n\nBring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager\n\nGive manager best advice\n\nGive earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specified\n\nCooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager\n\nExemplify Company Core Values: Integrity, Client Focus, Team Orientation, and Personal
