You’ll work directly with child care providers and community partners to help turn facility improvement needs into successful projects.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nGrant Management\nManage a portfolio of facility improvement grants for child care centers and family child care homes.\nOversee grants from application review through funding, monitoring, and closeout.\nReview applications for eligibility, readiness, compliance, and program fit.\nTrack project timelines, budgets, funding activity, and reporting requirements.\nConduct virtual and onsite project visits.\nPrepare grant recommendations, presentations, and status reports.\nProvider Support & Technical Assistance\nAdvise child care providers on facility improvements, renovations, health and safety, licensing, and business planning.\nHelp providers navigate permitting, zoning, and regulatory requirements.\nFacilitate trainings and workshops and develop practical provider resources.\nProgram & Community Engagement\nMaintain program data and track outcomes, milestones, and performance metrics.\nSupport reporting to leadership, funders, and stakeholders.\nBuild relationships with local agencies, community organizations, licensing entities, and government partners.\nRepresent the program at meetings and community events.\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING\nBachelor’s degree in Education, Public Administration, Business, Planning, Architecture, Finance, Operations, or a related field.\nExperience in child care, grants, nonprofit/community programs, or a related area.\nExperience with training, technical assistance, consulting, or program support.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems; Salesforce is a plus.\nKnowledge of child care licensing, facility planning, construction, or community development is preferred.\nSpanish bilingual skills are a plus.\nAbility to travel within California for site visits and meetings.\nQualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!\n\nPlease hit APPLY to provide the required information, and we will be back in touch as soon as possible.\nWe are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar positions.
