You will ensure the airplane has sufficient strength to endure all conditions encountered during its operational life. The analyst also ensures the airplane structure meets all other design requirements including fail-safety, durability and damage tolerance where applicable.\nPositions could include the following analysis commodities:\nFuselage\nWing/Empennage\nPropulsion Structures\nSystems Stress\nInteriors Stress\nSeats Stress\nCoordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.\nSupport product design and verify structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.\nDefines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.\nRequirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.\n8+ years related work experience in aircraft stress analysis.\nMinimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.\nCTS Pays For Referrals!
