We are looking for security officers that have experience in working security on a construction site. Must know safety and OSHA standards for working at a construction site. This is an outside only post in the downtown PHX area.\n\nSome of the duties included but not all.\nUsing silvertrac for DARs\nPatrol the fenced areas.\nWorking outside on your shift.\nCheck all gates and fence lines.\nDo not let anyone on site overnight.\nWatch for fires or other emergencies.\nFirewatch. every 3-4 hours.\nReport all pipe leaks, issues as needed.\nKeep vagrants/homeless people off site and away from the construction areas and their closed sidewalk and office areas.\nWalking stairs\nWatch for theft, vandals, unauthorized people.\nBe able to use silvertrac for reporting hourly and incident reports.\nPatrolling and checking two areas an hour on silvertrac.\nWork mostly alone or the whole shift without supervision.\nCall 911 as needed or call police, fire or ambulance.\nwatching for fence jumpers or and keeping people out of the site\nAnswer the site phone as calls may come in overnight.\nBe detailed, aware, and alert at all times.\nWalking for patrols every hour, walking up and down stairs.\n\nWhat to know-\nMust be able to work alone and handle homeless persons with respect and care.\n17 floor building. Stairs only, no elevator. NOTE- you do not have to walk all floors each night, but you do have to walk some stairs each shift. Be able to walk stairs, up and down a few times a shift.\nMust be in good physical shape/ fit.\nWalking, foot patrols, walking stairs.\nWork alone over nights. You are in a locked fenced area.\nBe able to handle high stress situations and be able to handle difficult people.\nMust wear hardhat, safety vest at all times while on site on duty.
