Following established practices and procedures, performs a combination of tasks which may include receiving, loading and unloading, counting, weighing, and conveying materials and recording information and tracking, logging and verifying orders from numerous sources and departments. Coordinates outbound shipment of products. Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices. Requisitions stock to fill incoming orders or issues supplies from stock, and prepares stock use reports.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCoordinates receipt of incoming materials.\nChecks materials received against vendor shipping documents and purchase orders for accuracy.\nAnalyzes and monitors inventory and work orders.\nEnsures traceability of material and/or parts.\nCoordinates with various departments to support department materials requirements.\nMonitors and restocks inventory levels housed on shop floor to ensure appropriate levels.\nUpdates daily movement of parts providing information to appropriate personnel regarding back order of critical scheduled material.\nDelivers materials as required for designated production areas and engineering projects.\nReviews material requisitions issued to the stockroom to ensure material is properly allocated and storage will not impact production.\nConducts physical inventory counts, and prepares lists of obsolete and excess quantities of stock components based on stock and locations usage reports.\nIdentifies, reports, and investigates inventory shortages, overages or discrepancies on the shop floor.\nExamines items received.\nVerifies conformance to quality clauses and receiving procedures.\nReviews and monitors inventory and work order shortages, communicating requirements to planning.\nCoordinates with quality assurance and purchasing on the return of defective parts to vendors for repair or replacement.\nTransfers vendor shipper paperwork upon receipt of goods or after appropriate approval of parts.\nEnsures damages or excess goods are processed through quality assurance and/or materials supervisor.\nCoordinates with safety on the processing and disposal of hazardous materials.\nMaintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.\nResponsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.\nExpected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.\nAdditional Functions: Other duties as assigned or required.\nWe recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.\n46356\nJob Qualifications:\nTypically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and five or more years of experience in production/material control.\nMust have an extensive understanding of material control concepts and standards and have experience applying those concepts and standards using stockroom procedures and record keeping practices.\nSAP knowledge preferred.\nForklift experience desired.\nHave the ability to bend, kneel, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds.\nMust be customer focused and possess:\nThe ability to identify and analyze complex issues and interpret data.\nStrong organization skills to maintain flow of work within the unit.\nThe ability to establish priorities and respond to complex issues or situations.\nExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to interface with all levels of internal employees and to accurately document and report information.\nKnowledge of computer operations and applications and word processing and spreadsheets.\nAbility to work both independently and in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.\n\nSalary:$41,290 - $61,375Travel Percentage Required 0 - 25Relocation Assistance Provided Not Provided US Citizenship Required?
