You are passionate about enabling engineering teams to build, test, and deploy software faster and more reliably through automation, self-service tooling, and well-architected cloud network foundations.\n\nThis role will be instrumental in building a scalable, secure, and performant cloud network and on-prem connectivity as well as contribute to the internal developer platform that standardizes software delivery across the organization, including network-aware CI/CD pipelines and integrated developer platform capabilities.\nCI/CD Platform Engineering\nDesign, implement, and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for Java, .Net, and Node.js applications.\nBuild standardized deployment workflows across AWS and/or Azure environments.\nImplement automated testing, security scanning, and quality gates within pipelines.\nEstablish reusable pipeline templates and shared libraries to enforce best practices.\nOptimize build and deployment performance, reliability, and observability.\nInternal Developer Portal (IDP)\nArchitect and implement an Internal Developer Portal to provide self-service infrastructure, application templates, and deployment workflows.\nEnable “golden paths” for engineering teams to accelerate onboarding and reduce cognitive load.\nIntegrate IDP with CI/CD systems, cloud infrastructure, identity management, and observability platforms.\nMaintain service catalogs, documentation standards, and ownership metadata.\nContinuously improve developer experience through feedback and platform enhancements.\nCloud & Infrastructure Automation\nDesign and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform required).\nBuild reusable Terraform modules and enforce governance through policy-as-code.\nImplement secure, scalable networking and cloud-native architecture patterns.\nEnsure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness.\nDevOps & Platform Best Practices\nChampion DevOps culture: automation-first mindset, continuous improvement, collaboration, and transparency.\nImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies for both infrastructure and applications.\nIntegrate DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning and secrets management.\nPartner with development teams to improve reliability, performance, and deployment practices.\nLead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives to evaluate and introduce new tools, platforms, and automation processes.\nWhat You Bring\n10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.\nDemonstrated evolution from software development into cloud infrastructure and automation.\n6+ years of hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Harness, CloudBees, Jenkins) and modern software delivery practices.\nDeep development expertise in Java and/or Node.js application environments.\nStrong hands-on experience in AWS and/or Azure, including networking, serverless and other managed cloud infrastructure.\nAdvanced proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.\nExperience designing scalable cloud-native architectures.\nExperience leading technical evaluations and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives for new tools and processes.\nStrong understanding of secure software delivery, git branching strategies, and DevSecOps practices.\nExperience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes preferred).\nStrong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).\nExcellent collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, security, and operations teams.\nClear, transparent communication style with a bias toward documentation and shared ownership.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience building or implementing a commercial Internal Developer Portal (e.g., Harness IDP, Port, or similar).\nExperience implementing platform engineering concepts and developer self-service models.\nFamiliarity with service mesh, API gateways, or cloud-native networking.\nExperience implementing security automation and compliance guardrails.\nKnowledge of observability platforms (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, Cloud-native tools).\nExperience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.\nEducation & Certifications\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.\nAWS and/or Azure certifications (Professional-level preferred).\nAdditional certifications in DevOps, Kubernetes, or cloud
