Assist Project Director with any additional responsibilities requested.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nPerform diagnosis coding of inpatient, outpatient, and physician office medical records per Risk Adjustment Data Validation (RADV) guidelines.\nPerform intake validity checks on each medical record submitted to ensure the submitted medical record documentation is from an acceptable physician specialty type, relevant dates of service for the specific RADV audit, include an acceptable physician/practitioner signature, and review submitted CMS-Generated Attestation, is submitted. Record all process information in CDAT-M in accordance with contract and organizational guidelines and processes.\nReview feedback from Lead Senior Coder QA to improve accuracy and quality of work.\nAccurately enter data into encoder, CDAT, and other as required software using a personal computer, keyboard and/or mouse.\nFollow all established processes and procedures.\nReport problems to Project Director with regard to unique record or process issues.\nMaintain security and confidentiality of medical records and Protected Health Information (PHI).\nConsistently meet or exceed productivity and accuracy standards of 95% minimum IRR established by the customer and/or the company.\nConsistently meet attendance standards established by the company.\nInteract appropriately with peers, co-workers, other Contractors, and the customer, when necessary. Contribute to building a positive team spirit.\nPerform other duties and projects as assigned.\n\nRequired Education and Experience\n\nExperience in coding general acute hospital (inpatient and outpatient) and/or multi-specialty physician office medical records by applying ICD-9-CM/ICD-10-CM coding guidelines. Experience in performing medical record coding audits including complex medical record abstraction. Must be a certified coder who is credentialed by a recognized credentialing institution.\n\nPreferred Education and Experience\n\nA minimum of one (1) year experience (non-internship) in coding general acute hospital (inpatient and outpatient), multi-specialty physician office by applying ICD-10-CM coding guidelines – for inpatient, outpatient and physician settings – and related Official Coding Clinic.\n\nSkills & Abilities\n\nAbility to work independently and maintain an elevated level of concentration.\nCapable of consistency, speed, and accuracy of task.\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret physician documentation.\nAbility to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of the organization, both written and verbal.\nAbility to work well in a team environment, to collaborate with others, and interface with team members internal and external to the organization.\nEstablishes and maintains effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\nMust be able to adapt to organizational change.\nMust be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.\nFlexibility and ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nSelf-motivated, well-organized, and detail oriented.\nAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity.\n\nEEO Employer:\n\nRELI Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
