The position serves as the site’s process and engineering authority, providing governance for process consistency, asset integrity, reliability engineering, and capital execution, while supporting delivery of Operational Excellence (OpEx) results and long‑term site performance. The position also serves as the Site Security Representative (SSR).\n\nAs a Process & Engineering Manager, you create chemistry by...\n\nProvide technical leadership and expertise for short- and long-range planning of production requirements, processes and staffing.\n\nProvide development and coaching for direct reports.\n\nLead and recommend process modifications and improvements where required for product quality, costs, reliability and capacity.\n\nProvide technical expertise in support of capital projects providing front end development and justification.\n\nWork with commercial team leaders to ensure ongoing conformance with changing customer requirements, proactively identifying “hot spots” and developing truly effective improvements.\n\nLead development and execution of Operational Excellence (OpEx) plan.\n\nManage and execute capital projects within the BASF guidelines. Oversee specific aspects of the site investment programs including project management, project assignment, resource planning, goal setting and priorities.\n\nChampion adherence to the Technical Community best practices for equipment maintenance and reliability and promote continuous process improvements to enhance plant availability and reduce plant repair-factor.\n\nManagement of a team of employees who are responsible for maintaining and upgrading the process control system.\n\nManage Facilities/Site Security function. Provide leadership/direction to the Monaca Site Leadership Team on facilities/security issues. Indirect oversight of the plant security officers. Serve as the Site Security Representative (SSR). Manage information protection and the site access system, maintenance and upgrades of fence line security including cameras, fences and gates.\n\nResponsible for site infrastructure to ensure support for existing plant operations and future site growth.\n\nLead the effort for the PHA and PSM processes and work closely with the EH&S Specialists to ensure site compliance.
