VisitorsCoverage is on a mission to hire only the best, and we are committed to providing exceptional employee experiences with meaningful work and true work/life balance.\n\nRequirements\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nBuild and maintain well-defined features across the stack, with guidance from senior engineers.\nSupport backend, frontend, API integration, data, testing, debugging, and internal tooling work as team priorities shift.\nUse AI-assisted tools for coding, debugging, documentation, and research while validating outputs through testing, reasoning, and code review.\nWrite clean, readable, and maintainable code with attention to programming fundamentals and team standards.\nWrite unit/integration tests and participate in peer code reviews to maintain team standards.\nBreak down problems into clear steps, ask strong questions, and escalate risks early.\nContribute to documentation, automation, and engineering hygiene that improve team speed and reliability.\nLearn the product domain, customer workflows, and business context so technical work maps to real outcomes.\nRequired Skills:\nStrong programming fundamentals and object-oriented design principles.\nExperience with PHP.\nSolid JavaScript knowledge and familiarity with MVC frameworks.\nExperience building modern web applications.\nWorking knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive web development.\nExperience with SQL databases and relational database design.\nFamiliarity with REST APIs.\nExperience using Git and collaborative development workflows.\nStrong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing priorities.\nAbility to use AI-assisted development tools responsibly while validating code quality, security, and maintainability.\nQualifications & Requirements:\n2–3 years of professional software development experience.\nExperience delivering production-quality web applications.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.\nNice to Have: Experience with one or more of the following (Vue.js, Python, Docker, AWS, Redis, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Linux, or third-party API integrations).\nAI-Assisted Development Expectations\nEngineers in this role should be able to:\nAsk good questions that clarify the real problem before jumping into implementation.\nValidate AI-generated code rather than accepting it at face value.\nDebug problems effectively and distinguish surface fixes from root causes.\nUnderstand trade-offs, including maintainability, edge cases, and production impact.\nTake ownership of the software they build and be accountable for every committed change, regardless of how much AI contributed.\nSalary range: $100,000 - $125,000.
