Job Title: Assistant Shop Leader Location: On-site  Reports To: Shop Leader  Employment Type: Part/Full-Time About the Role  The Assistant Manager supports the success of Tailored in White by ensuring seamless operations, strong client partnerships, and consistent execution of key sales and goals. This role is both administrative and customer-facing—combining  operational excellence with event coordination. You’ll manage back-of-house (BOH) systems, oversee preservation initiatives, maintain  marketing materials for accounts, and represent Tailored in White at trunk shows and  partnership sales events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, confident in event  settings, and capable of stepping into light tailoring or fitting support as a floater when  needed. ____________________________________________________________  Who We Are  Tailored in White is a premium bridal alterations company that masters the art of fit.  We use each bride’s body as our canvas, sculpting couture-level alterations to  transform gowns into wearable art. At Tailored in White, the team  comes first—because when the team thrives, our brides do too. ____________________________________________________________  What You Bring to the Table  You’re the kind of person who: • Thrives on event coordination and relationship building with partners • Is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive about solving problems • Balances customer service with operational excellence • Is comfortable overseeing sales KPIs and coaching admin performance • Can multitask and switch between admin, events, and on-the-floor support • Understands the emotional significance of bridal alterations and events • Is willing to float as needed for fittings or light tailoring tasks (training provided) • Works well independently and as part of a team ____________________________________________________________  A Day in the Life  • Attend and represent Tailored in White at 8+ trunk shows and sample sales annually  • Maintain all marketing collateral (cards, brochures, letters) for accounts and events Oversee BOH operations, including: • Wedding date calendar • Preservation board updates • Inventory checks and audits • Drive preservation sales and ensure the location meets monthly preservation goals • Lead and track admin preservation KPIs • Organize and execute weekend sales events as needed with key partners • Conduct quality control (QC) checks on alterations and coordinate learning  opportunities for tailors • Act as a floater to cover fittings or alterations in the event of call-outs • Collaborate with shop leadership to improve processes and drive efficiency ____________________________________________________________  What’s in it for you  You bring your best—and we invest in it.
