This individual will:\nEstimate, bid and secure construction projects of sufficient revenue and margin to meet the prescribed business plan.\nInitiate and maintain customer contact which will enable securements and profitable execution of work.\nDirect and manage the construction activities of projects in area of responsibility in order to maximize margin contribution results.\nInterpret and analyze contract documents regarding terms, specifications, clarifications and requirements for each project.\nManage job site personnel in order to maintain effective relations with owner, engineers, utilities, subcontractors, contractors, unions, etc.\nImplement the corporate program regarding loss control and claims management pertaining to workers compensation.\nAnalyze and monitor actual vs. estimated costs in order to develop action plans where unfavorable variances are detected. Ensure that an effective job control system is utilized on each project.\nEffectively estimate the majority of work applicable to respective region. Responsible to solicit the assistance of the estimating department when necessary in order to assure maximum bidding activity without sacrificing quality.\nNegotiate contract issues and variances and further negotiate change order, scope changes, claims and other project issues as required.\nSalary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 annual salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.\nBasic Requirements\nAt least 7+ years of Construction Management work experience.\nExperienced in Commercial, Industrial, and Mechanical construction.\nProficient skills in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word.\nStrong ability to read, understand and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work. Excellent communication and customer service skills.\nStrong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships.\nHigh level of attention to detail and cost analysis.\nAbility to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work.\nProficiency with computer takeoff & estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff and Quickbid.\nAbility to juggle multiple projects and keep each on schedule ensuring that all deadlines are met.\nAbility to communicate well with all levels of employees within the company.
