Job Description Controller-HYBRID Rosemont, IL American Medical Technologists is looking to add a Controller to our Finance Team. In collaboration with the Director, Finance & Administration and two additional team members, this position will manage accounting and financial operations for a $12 million budget. A high-level overview of the role includes:Managing all accounting processes including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accountingDeveloping strong internal controls to safeguard organizational assets and ensure adherence to controlsCollaborating with leadership to develop financial budgets and forecastsEnsuring compliance with all applicable regulatory bodies and requirements at federal, state, and local levelsFacilitating monthly closing processes to prepare and distribute accurate and timely financial statementsMonitoring bank and investment accounts to ensure compliance with policies and guidelinesOversee administration of state society budgets, accounting and reportingOther duties as assigned Experience and Skills What you will get from AMT:Annual Salary, commensurate with experienceA Monday to Friday work scheduleA full compensation package with insurance, paid time off, and retirement benefitsA casual, hybrid working environment- In-office 1 day per week Education and background requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting requiredActive or inactive CPA license requiredExpert knowledge in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting best practices.Minimum 5 years' accounting management experienceStrong organizational, analytical, and communication skillsStrong proficiency in accounting systems, specifically NetSuiteAdvanced Excel Knowledge, including complex functions and pivot tables About AMT: American Medical Technologists (AMT) was founded in 1939 and is global, member-led credentialing association. The salary range estimate below is inclusive of all departments within the company and offered salaries may vary within the given range between departments. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this level is $125,000 - $140,000 annualized plus additional compensation and other competitive benefits.
