Performs duties and tasks with minimum supervision.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n\nReceives incoming goods and products into stock, including boxing, labeling, storing, etc.\nPerforms cycle inventory counts and investigate count discrepancies as required.\nPulls material for work orders and material requests for manufacturing and other departments.\nAudit work orders and material returned from Production for accuracy.\nConduct investigation of inventory discrepancies to help with accuracy and root cause analysis.\nLoad and unload trucks as required.\nOperates sit down and stand up forklifts.\nAssist with training of other team members in performing their duties effectively and provide support.\nCommunication/schedule freight and parcel shipments with carriers.\nPerforms inventory, work order, sales orders and other transactions in ERP system.\nCoordination and communication with Order Admin, carriers and customers to resolve shipment issues.\nPrepares packages/documentation for foreign, domestic and hazardous material shipments as required.\nTimely review and responses to emails.\nand organization of material storage areas and workspaces.\nFollow safety procedures/regulations and maintain cleanliness related to material handling activities.\nMakes local pick-ups and deliveries as required/assigned.\n\nRequirements and Qualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.\n\nTypically requires a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience.\nValid forklift operator’s license preferred or willing to get certification.\nHazMat handling certification preferred. or willing to get certification.\nKnowledge of how to pack material and product to protect from damage.\nKnowledge of documentation requirements for import/export and hazardous material shipments.\nValid Driver’s License required\nProficiency in using MS Office software (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems.\nStrong organizational and multitasking skills.\nExcellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education/experience.\n\nPhysical Demands/Work Environment\nWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and moving traffic.
