Job Summary We are excited to announce an opening for an experienced Fry Cook who is passionate about delivering high-quality, delicious fried dishes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role is perfect for someone with a strong culinary background, especially in food preparation and cooking techniques related to frying. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fried menu items while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and presentation. Your energy and expertise will help create a vibrant dining experience that keeps our guests coming back for more! Duties Prepare and cook a wide range of fried foods with precision and consistency, ensuring quality standards are met every time Follow established recipes and menu specifications to deliver flavorful dishes that delight customers Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene in all aspects of food preparation Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, knives, and other culinary tools Ensure cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning fryers, utensils, and surfaces regularly throughout shifts Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and support catering or special event needs when required Qualifications Proven experience as a fry cook or in a similar culinary role within the food industry, restaurant, or catering environment Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, especially frying methods Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment used in frying and food handling Prior experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is a plus Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food service operations is highly desirable Locations: Lewisville - Quickie Crab Bedford (new restaurant) Would like Position split time between both locations. Starting pay will be up for review after 90-days with potential raise after that Looking for fry cook to start, but lots of potential for growth!!
