Applicants outside of these preferred locations will still be considered.\r\nThe Integration Specialist supports the setup, testing, and maintenance of system integrations between the VitalSource platform and higher education institutions, channel partners, and distribution systems — maintaining accurate records of customer needs, conversations, and outstanding items throughout.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nSets up, tests, and maintains integrations aligned to customer needs and requirements.\r\nSupports internal segment teams with integration discussions, design, troubleshooting, and escalations as needed.\r\nProvides Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback through appropriate channels to VitalSource product and engineering for continuous improvement; escalates issues to appropriate internal stakeholders as needed.\r\nSupports integrations including but not limited to Learning Management Systems (Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace/D2L, Moodle), digital textbook distribution, ecommerce platforms, and physical book distribution platforms.\r\nMaintains knowledge of core software offerings, including the APIs and systems essential for seamless platform communications.\r\nCommunicates the company's current software features, upcoming features, and known issues to customers and stakeholders.\r\nCreates and manages customer-facing project plans at the outset of each onboarding process.\r\nProvides enhanced support during peak periods.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\n2+ years of customer management experience.\r\n2+ years of experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system or database.\r\nPreferred Skills\r\nIntermediate Excel skills, including data manipulation, formulas, and pivot tables.\r\nExperience with New Relic Insights or basic knowledge of SQL.\r\nUnderstanding of technical concepts in a software or SaaS environment.\r\nExperience organizing and prioritizing multiple projects with competing deadlines.\r\nExperience with Salesforce, Jira, APIs, Postman, Metabase, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Confluence, or Slack.\r\nWhat We Offer\r\nCulture: Collaborative, Inclusive, and Mission-driven.\r\nMore in your pocket: Competitive base salary and a strong variable component.\r\nWe take care of all aspects of our people: Generous, well-rounded benefits such as Medical, Vision, Dental, Life, Disability, Critical Illness, Accident, FSA, HSA, ID Protection, Pet and Legal Insurance.\r\nRetirement: 401K match up to 5%.\r\nWe support our families: 12 weeks of paid parental leave.\r\nContinued education: Use our tuition reimbursement program.\r\nThe Importance of Balance: Start at 4 weeks' vacation, 12 sick days, 1 company holidays, and 3 personal days.\r\nFlexibility: Flexible work schedules and remote capabilities (by team) - feel free to skip the commute and hit your deadlines from home.\r\nWellness: Opportunities for fitness challenges and rewards.\r\nSalary Range: $74,000 to $85,000\r\nWho We Are: VitalSource Technologies, LLC has powered digital content delivery across the higher education ecosystem for over 30 years.
