Commercial Hvac Technician

Job Description We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC-R) systems. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and collaboratively to address various service needs while adhering to safety protocols.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, install, and troubleshoot Commercial HVAC systems.Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe or tubing, using pipe fitter's tools.Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as safety procedures or the maintenance of a clean work area.Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components and ensure proper functionality.Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and identify issues.Study blueprints, design specifications, or manufacturers' recommendations to ascertain the configuration of heating or cooling equipment components and to ensure the proper installation of components.Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficiency.Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair and maintenance.Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology.ExperienceMust have 2 plus years' experience in running copper and controls on a construction site.Must have a solid knowledge of reading blueprints, design specifications, or manufacturers' recommendations.HVAC License and EPA Certificate preferred.Company Description MRS Heating & Cooling is rapidly growing!
