Superintendent – Healthcare Construction (Nashville, TN)Position OverviewSeeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for driving safety, schedule, quality, and subcontractor coordination while serving as the on-site leader and primary point of execution.Key ResponsibilitiesChampion a safety-first culture, ensuring full compliance with company standards and OSHA regulationsLead all field operations, coordinating with Project Management, Estimating, and Ownership teamsDevelop and manage project schedules and production plans aligned with budget and safety goalsOversee subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and contract termsMaintain all project documentation including daily reports, progress tracking, and compliance logsReview plans, drawings, and shop submittals to ensure alignment with contract documentsManage materials, tools, and equipment procurement to support project timelinesDetermine and manage staffing levels, including hiring and directing field personnelPartner with HR on workforce management, payroll oversight, and conflict resolutionCoordinate with inspectors and officials to ensure successful regulatory compliance and inspectionsProactively identify and resolve construction challenges to maintain project momentumQualifications5+ years of experience in commercial constructionProven experience as a Lead Superintendent on at least one projectExperience managing projects up to $80M preferredStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsValid driver’s license requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to work on active construction sites in varying weather conditionsCapable of standing, climbing, lifting (up to 70 lbs), and performing physical site dutiesComfortable working at heights and in environments with noise, dust, and equipment
